How to find your name in the results PDF
These files are long — the O Level list alone runs to 420 pages. Do not scroll. Search instead.
On a phone
- Tap the download link above and wait for the file to finish downloading. On a slow connection the O Level file can take a minute or two.
- Open the file in your phone’s PDF viewer, Google Drive, or Adobe Acrobat Reader.
- Tap the search icon (a magnifying glass, usually top right).
- Type your surname in capital letters — names are printed in capitals, for example NKWETESING RYAN SIMOLEN.
- Tap through each match until you find your centre.
On a computer
- Open the PDF in any browser or PDF reader.
- Press Ctrl + F (Windows) or Cmd + F (Mac).
- Type your surname, or type your centre number to jump straight to your school.
If you cannot find your name
Try these before assuming the worst:
- Search your other names. Many Cameroonian candidates are registered with names in a different order than they use daily. Search each of your names separately.
- Check the spelling used at registration, not the spelling you prefer. A single different letter will break the search.
- Search your centre number and read your centre’s section fully.
- Remember these lists contain successful candidates only. A missing name means the candidate did not pass, not that the record is lost.

We aggregated the centre-by-centre summaries printed in the four official PDFs to produce the national totals below. These are computed from the published centre figures, not quoted from a Board press release.

What these numbers actually tell you
O Level passed at a higher rate than A Level, and that is a reversal of last session. In 2026 Ordinary Level reached 74.50% against Advanced Level at 61.94%. Reported figures for the 2025 session had the order the other way round. Do not read this as proof that the 2026 A Level cohort was weaker: A Level papers demand depth in a small number of subjects and the pass threshold is reached differently. If you sat A Level and passed two subjects, you cleared a steeper line than the O Level headline figure suggests.
Roughly one in three A Level candidates did not pass. 69,765 sat and 43,211 passed, which leaves about 26,554 candidates who will be considering a resit, a vocational route, or a different plan. If that is you, you are in very large company, and there is a defined path forward — see the resit section below.
The gap between registered and sat is significant at O Level. 98,040 registered but 87,973 sat, meaning around 10,067 registered candidates did not sit the full examination.
Sanctions were concentrated at A Level. 1,824 A Level candidates were sanctioned against 523 at O Level — more than three times as many, from a smaller cohort. Examination malpractice carries real consequences, and they fall hardest where the stakes are highest.
How 2026 compares with 2025
Press reporting on the 2025 session put the national picture at an overall pass rate of 74.24%, up from 60.8% the year before, with Advanced Level General near 78.36%, Advanced Level Technical near 89.34%, Ordinary Level General near 62.15%, and Ordinary Level Technical near 67.34%.

Read that table carefully rather than quickly. Our 2026 column is computed directly from the official result lists on this page, and we verified it by counting every candidate name printed in the four PDFs: 65,539 names at O Level, 43,211 at A Level, 16,804 at TVEE Intermediate and 7,870 at TVEE Advanced. Those counts match the centre summaries exactly.
The 2025 column is different in kind. It comes from press reporting of the previous session, not from a document we can audit line by line, and published rates can be calculated on different bases, for example against candidates registered rather than candidates who actually sat. A genuine year-on-year comparison would need both years computed the same way. Until that is possible, treat the 2025 column as indicative context and the 2026 column as the firm figure.
What can be said with confidence is that within the 2026 session itself, Ordinary Level candidates passed at a higher rate than Advanced Level candidates, and technical candidates at Advanced Level passed at a higher rate than general-education candidates at the same level.

Frequently asked questions
Are these the official 2026 GCE results?
Yes. These are the result lists published by the Cameroon GCE Board, reproduced here as free downloads. We have not edited the candidate lists in any way.
Why is my name not in the PDF?
These lists contain successful candidates only. If your name is absent after searching all of your names and your centre number, it means you did not pass this session. Your options are a resit or the remark procedure if you believe there is an error.
What does “Sanctioned” mean on my centre’s summary?
Sanctioned candidates had results withheld or cancelled, normally for examination malpractice. Nationally, 2,736 candidates were sanctioned across the four examinations in 2026.
Can I get my results by SMS?
The Board has operated SMS result services in past sessions, but availability and short codes change year to year. The PDF lists on this page are free, complete, and do not cost airtime.
How soon do I need to register for a resit?
Resit registration windows open shortly after results and close faster than most students expect. Check our resit guide and confirm current dates with your school, because missing the window costs a full year.
