These Terms of Use govern your use of estudyuniverse.com and the eStudyUniverse mobile application (together, “the Service”), operated by eStudyUniverse. By using the Service you agree to these terms. If you do not agree with them, please do not use the Service.
1. What eStudyUniverse provides
eStudyUniverse is an education platform for students preparing for Cameroonian examinations, including the GCE Ordinary and Advanced Level, the Baccalauréat, the Probatoire, the BEPC, the CAP and competitive entrance examinations (concours).
The Service provides past examination papers, marking guides, revision notes, study guides, practice tools and related educational content, through this website and through our mobile application. Some material is free; some is paid.
2. Accounts
Some features require an account. When you create one you agree to provide accurate information, to keep your password confidential, and to be responsible for activity carried out under your account.
Accounts are personal to you. Sharing account credentials so that others can access paid material is a breach of these terms and may result in suspension.
If you believe your account has been used without your permission, contact us promptly.
3. Free and paid content
Free material may be downloaded and used for your own study without charge.
Paid material is sold on a per-item basis. When you purchase an item you receive a personal, non-transferable licence to download and use it for your own study and revision. Payment methods available on the Service may include mobile money and card payment; the payment providers we use handle those transactions and are subject to their own terms.
4. What you may and may not do with the material
You may download material for your own revision, print copies for your personal use, and use it in your own study or with a study group you are part of.
You may not resell, redistribute or republish material obtained from the Service; upload it to another website, file-sharing service or public group; remove any notices or attribution from it; or use it to build a competing commercial service.
Teachers and schools wishing to use our material with a class are welcome to contact us.
5. Intellectual property
The study guides, revision notes, explanatory articles, design and software of the Service are the property of eStudyUniverse and are protected by applicable copyright law.
Past examination papers and official marking guides originate from the examination bodies that set them, and the rights in those underlying examination materials remain with those bodies. We make them available to help candidates revise. If you hold rights in material published on the Service and believe it should not appear here, please contact us and we will respond.
6. Accuracy, and what we do not promise
We work to keep the information on the Service accurate and current, and we correct errors when we find them or when they are reported to us.
However, examination syllabuses, registration dates, entrance examination conditions, fees and results are set and published by examination boards, ministries and institutions — not by us. Always confirm dates, fees and eligibility conditions with the official body concerned before acting on them. No page on this site should be treated as the source of a closing date.
We do not guarantee any examination result, grade, admission or placement. What we provide is preparation material and study guidance; outcomes depend on many factors outside our control.
7. Availability
We aim to keep the Service available, but we do not guarantee uninterrupted access. The Service may be unavailable during maintenance, or because of failures in networks, hosting or other systems outside our control. We may add, change or withdraw features.
8. Acceptable use
When using the Service you agree not to attempt to gain unauthorised access to any part of it or to other users’ accounts; not to interfere with its normal operation, including by automated scraping that places an unreasonable load on it; not to upload malicious code; not to use the Service unlawfully; and not to impersonate another person or organisation.
We may suspend or terminate access where these terms are breached.
9. Advertising and third-party links
The Service may display advertising provided by third parties, and may link to third-party websites. We do not control the content of third-party advertising or of sites we link to, and their inclusion is not an endorsement. Your dealings with third parties are between you and them.

10. Limitation of liability
To the extent permitted by applicable law, eStudyUniverse is not liable for indirect or consequential loss arising from your use of the Service, including loss of opportunity or examination outcome. Nothing in these terms excludes liability that cannot lawfully be excluded.
11. Changes to these terms
We may update these Terms of Use. When we do, we will change the date at the top of this page. Continued use of the Service after a change means you accept the updated terms. Significant changes will be signalled on the Service where reasonably practicable.
12. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Cameroon.
